“Ionian Blue” is a luxurious 5* deluxe seaside hotel on the eastern beach of Lefkada island. The hotel is built with an unparalleled 180 degree view of the Ionian Sea, on a natural slope, while its rooms slope down in front of the calm blue waters of the Ionian Sea.
It has 116 rooms, all large and comfortable with bathroom/shower, A/C, hairdryer, safe, mini bar, telephone and TV and balcony or terrace with sea view, decorated with beautiful furniture.

Entrance fees to museums, parks and archaeological sites, entertainment, consumption of drinks, tips, the cruise and anything mentioned in the program as optional or recommended.
The Climate Change Tax (for 5* from 01/04 to 31/10) is €15 per room/night, which is paid by the guests themselves at the hotel.

The tour leader has the right to modify the program depending on the circumstances, but without omitting anything from it.

1or DAY M. FRIDAY: LARISSA – SIVOTA – PARGA – LEFKADA

Gathering of excursionists at 07:00 and departure for LEFKADA. Passing through Kalambaka (stop) and Ioannina peripherally (stop). We continue for the Sivota, known also from a historical point of view. They existed since ancient times, and we know this from the naval battle of the Corinthians and Thesprotians against Corfu in the year 433 BC during the Peloponnesian War. During the time of the Turkish occupation, Sivota was called Murtos, and they kept this name until 1959, when the ancient name of the settlement was restored. Individual lunch. We continue to the picturesque town of Parga with its rare natural beauties. Among its most important attractions is the island of the Virgin Mary and the Venetian castle. The city is built amphitheatrically. Its small, all-white houses are perched on the slopes, nestled in the greenery. We will have lunch in its picturesque taverns (individual expenses) and then depart for LEFKADA. Arrival in Nikaiana, check-in at the hotel and time to rest. Dinner and then a visit to get to know the city. In the evening of Good Friday is special. Crowds of locals and visitors flood the main pedestrian street and the Central Square of the city during the procession of the Epitaphs of the parish churches of the city of Lefkada. The Epitaph Service of Metropolitan Church of the Annunciation and the presence of the Philharmonic, give a devout tone to the ceremony. There is a piece of music that is heard by the Philharmonic only during the Epitaph procession, usually in the central square, like a small concert. A piece sad as Holy Week, rhythmic as the waves of the sea, sends the mournful heartbreak of the dead Christ to heaven. It is his funeral march Franco I do from the opera Hamlet and It is based on Shakespeare's play Hamlet. Return to the hotel, overnight stay.

2or DAY M. SATURDAY: NYDRI – CRUISE KEFALONIA-ITHAKI-MEGANISI-SCORPIO.

After breakfast we will visit the Nidri and boarding the ship for the optional cruise if the weather conditions are suitable. Otherwise we will do the short cruise.  Our first stop is the most famous beaches of the Ionian Sea, Porto Katsiki and Egremnoi. (weather permitting, free time for swimming in the crystal blue waters) We continue to Kefalonia. Stop at Fiskardo, the northernmost port of Kefalonia. A traditional village with small coves that retains its color and is located opposite and very close to Ithaca. Free time for coffee and a walk. We continue to Ithaca. It is a small mountainous island with magical bays that remind us of an earthly paradise. Free time for lunch. Our next stop is Meganisi. On its west side is the Cave of Papanikolis, the hideout and base of the legendary submarine in the 2the World War. You will feel an unforgettable experience when the ship enters the cave. Finally, a tour follows (mini cruise in the lush green Princes' Islands, Scorpios – Sparta – Kastri, the three islands of Onassis. Stop at Scorpios. We continue to Madouri, the island where Aristotle Valaoritis was born, raised and wrote his poems. His mansion is even located there. Return to Nidri and then to the hotel. At 23:00 we will depart to watch the Resurrection. Return to the hotel where the restaurant will be waiting for us. the Cook and the complete Resurrection menu. Sweets, fruit, scrambled eggs.  HAPPY EASTER!!!  Overnight.

3or Day (EASTER SUNDAY) – CHRIST IS RISEN – EASTER MEAL AND FESTIVAL: 

After breakfast we will visit the Monastery of Faneromeni. From the balcony of the monastery we will admire the magnificent panorama of the Ionian Sea. These unique impressions will remain unforgettable. Return to the hotel.

Today is a beautiful day. Weather permitting, the traditional lamb roasting will take place in the pool.

From 12:00 -14:00 before the Easter meal, ouzo/tsipouro/wine – kokoretsi and snacks will be offered. At 14:00 the rich meal begins EASTER MEAL with roasted lambs and live music. Also beautiful dance groups of beautiful girls and young men will dance local Lefkada dances and then everyone dances and has fun. In the afternoon visit to the city of Lefkada. Free time. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

4or DAY MONDAY: LEFKADA – PREVEZA – ANCIENT NIKOPOLIS – IOANNENA – LARISSA

After breakfast, departure to visit the picturesque PREVEZA, capital of the homonymous prefecture founded after the decline of Nikopolis in the 11th century AD. We will walk in the beautiful city embraced by the sea on three sides. Free time for coffee. Then we will pass by ancient Nikopolis and continue to the Ioannina. Arrival, free time for lunch (individual expenses). You can visit the castle of Ioannina. It contains the Fethiye Mosque, the Tomb of Ali Pasha and the Byzantine Museum, as well as the Silversmithing Exhibition Hall. You can also visit the Island of Kyra Frosini to visit the Monastery of St. Panteleimon, where the cells house the museum of the Pre-Revolutionary period. In these cells, Ali Pasha was mortally wounded by Kyose Mehmet. Departure at 16:30 for Larissa. Arrival in our city in the evening.
